PSALMS 95 (V.1 and 2)
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; Let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and songs.
Singing at the 8:30 Sunday Service is led by Pianist, Kristine Robinson. If you are an early bird or have other reasons to enjoy early morning worship, this informal service held in the church's Family Life Center may suit you best.
The mainstay of BFUMC music program is the Joy Choir who leads the congregation every Sunday at the 11:00 traditional service. With a talented director, song leader, and organist/pianist, music is a vital part of our worship. Joy Choir practices on Wednesday evenings at 6 o'clock. Everyone who loves to sing is welcome.
Once a month, the Jubilee Ringers add variety to the traditional service. The members enjoy “ringing for the Lord” and practice on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 in the Sanctuary. This group always welcoming new members who are interested in joining them. Technique can be taught so don't be intimidated if you have never rung before. If you have questions, call Peggy at 512-715-0027 or Jackie at 512-793-6383.
WNL YOUTH PROGRAM
Students in the Wednesday Night Live programs have music included in the curriculum, and many hope that eventually children will sing for the congregation on Sundays. This program needs more adult participation from those who enjoy working in this area.
We encourage anyone who sings well or plays an instrument to let our music director, Kristine Robinson know of your talent. Kristine can be reached at: 512-756-2229.
